Caity-Shea Violette is a US-based playwright whose work explores the intersections of disability, sexuality, capitalism, and intergenerational healing. She has won the Jean Kennedy Smith Playwriting Award, Kennedy Center’s ACTF Harold & Mimi Steinberg Award, Samuel French OOB Festival, National Partners of the American Theatre Playwriting Award, and more. Her work has been presented at Portland Stage Company, Roundabout Theatre Company, the Kennedy Center, Boston Playwrights Theatre and more. She holds an MFA in Playwriting from Boston University.
