Lighting The Way: Climate Change Theatre Action in Calgary, Alberta

December 12 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm MST

Lighting The Way is a one-night-only event in collaboration with Climate Change Theatre Action 2019. Experience short plays by international playwrights who approach the topic of climate change from imaginative and diverse points of view. Audiences will be invited to participate in Long Table discussions throughout the evening. Join us for a night of theatre and conversation focused on creative visions for our future.

Audiences will be introduced to some tools and organizations in the community to help them continue their conversations about climate change. In such a divisive environment, we may need support to develop our confidence to talk to friends and neighbours about climate change.

Featuring short plays by:

Yvette Nolan – BREATHING SPACE
Sunny Drake – ABSOLUTELY NOTHING OF ANY MEANING
Jordan Hall – THE DONATION
Abhishek Majumdar – THE ARROW
Caridad Svich – A LETTER FROM THE OCEAN
