‘So This is the Last Apple Pie’ Relationships and Reconnecting During The Climate Crisis
October 30 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm ADT
You are cordially invited to a workshop+art day centered around apple growing and harvesting! How are apples and food growing being impacted by the climate crisis? Where do apples come from? And how do we make cider? Come get your hands on an apple beyond the pristine grocery store shelf and perhaps learn something new about our reciprocal relationship with food! The event will be an outdoor play reading of the following plays from the Climate Change Theatre Action 2021 collection, followed by apple related workshops and activities.
This event is co-hosted by The Deanery and Blooming Ludus, a participatory theatre company connecting people, art and the environment to fight for climate justice and a sustainable future. For more info see: www.bloomingludus.com
