What Can We Do: Climate Change Theatre Action at Towson University

Towson University will present ten Climate Change Theatre Action plays, produced, directed, and starring a company of student artists. Students will select their plays by December 2nd and on December 7th all of the company members will meet at 8 a.m. and block, memorize, rehearse, and produce the plays for an event at 7:00 p.m.

Joan Lipkin – ABOUT THAT CHOCOLATE BAR
Vitor Jatobá – FAILED EXPERIMENT
Vinicius Jatobá – THE STORY OF THE BEAUTIFUL ROPE AND THE BOUNTIFUL WINDOW
Lana I. Nasser – THE BUTTERFLY THAT PERSISTED
Shy Richardson & Karina Yager  – TRÉS MARIAS: CATEGORIES AND LUZ
Madeline Sayet – BLOOD ON THE LEAVES
Stephen Sewell – THE REASON

 

We will be raising awareness for sustainability issues on campus, locally, in our region, and around the country with brief discussions in-between plays. We are also partnering with #teamtrees to raise money to plant trees and offset the impact of this event.
