In Tandem Arts and Climate Change Theatre Action are hosting an OPEN PLAY READING at Main Street Landing’s Black Box Theater on November 9, 2017.

Aligned with the COP23 (23rd United Nations Convention on Climate Change), the event is a theater forum for dialogue in tandem with a participatory reading of short plays.

Actors, non-actors and viewers are ALL WELCOME. NO PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Actors will choose from dramatic, experimental and/or comedic pieces to perform (through a sign-up process). Viewers will gain perspective on the issue through exposure to various creative viewpoints from around the globe. Actors and (curious) non-actors should plan to come at 6 pm to prepare for the reading. Participatory viewers come at 7 pm.

Curated by In Tandem Arts, the plays are selected from a collection of 50 original works that address aspects of climate change from the vantage point of 25 different cultures.
