What do we stand to lose?

Ada Blackjack, an Iñupiaq seamstress, reflects on her extraordinary journey and survival on Wrangel Island in 1921, where she joined an expedition as the only woman. Despite facing adversity and losing her companions, Ada persevered to protect her sick son. As a conservationist and a modern explorer, Joel engages in a conversation with Ada and rebukes Stefansson, the explorer who exploits others for fame.
