Standing before the audience, the narrator(s) represent the many bodies affected by environmental degradation and climate change. Filled with passion and giving new meaning to the “canary in the coal mine” metaphor, Canary emphasizes the interconnectedness of all living beings and the urgent need to take responsibility for our choices in order to protect the Earth.
