Sakura and K witness the beauty of cherry blossoms blooming year after year, but the world is changing rapidly due to climate-related events. As the environment deteriorates, the cherry blossoms vanish faster than before, leaving K in denial and seeking solace in the transient beauty. The play then shifts to an imagined future where Z reflects on the past and mourns the loss of nature and the world as it once was.
