Didn’t your mama teach you to hunt?

This play centers around a conversation between Sitka, a trained Steller sea lion involved in research, and Brunhilda, a wild Steller sea lion. Sitka explains her interactions with humans and the research center, while Brunhilda shares her encounter with humans who tagged her and saved her from a life-threatening situation. The conversation explores the complexities of human impact on marine life and the sea lions’ contrasting perspectives on humans.
