Abhishek Majumdar is a playwright and theatre director based in Bangalore, India. He is a Visiting Associate Professor of Playwriting at New York University Abu Dhabi and the Artistic Director of Bhasha Centre in Bangalore. He writes in Hindi, English, and Bangla, and his work has been performed in several leading theatres such as the Royal Court Theatre in London, Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Theater Freiburg, Yale Rep, Prithvi Mumbai, and Ranga Shankara Bangalore, to name a few.
