Elspeth Tilley is an Australian-born playwright, actor, and academic, currently a full professor at Massey University in New Zealand. She holds a PhD in drama and literature from the University of Queensland. Tilley’s work spans theatre, performance, literature, media, and public communication, focusing on ethics and social justice. Her plays have been produced internationally, and she has received multiple awards, including the British Theatre Challenge and the Playwrights’ Association of New Zealand Outstanding Achievement Award.
