Giancarlo Abrahan is from the island of Bohol in the Philippines, and based in Metro Manila where he works as a writer, translator, director, and producer. Currently, he is a lecturer at the University of the Philippines Film Institute; Managing Director of Dulaang Sibol, a theater group in Ateneo de Manila; and Workshop Director of Linangan sa Imahen, Retorika, at Anyo (LIRA), an organization of poets writing in the Filipino language.
