Haeweon Yi is a theatremaker, writer, and researcher from Korea, currently based in North West England. As a co-founder and co-artistic director of Blooming Ludus, she has been creating works for climate justice and a sustainable future since 2015 with communities across the UK, Korea, and Canada. Her current PhD research, “Theatre of Decomposition,” is on nurturing performance practice, which explores human–fungi relationships, mourning and celebrating in the meshwork of the ecological crises.
