Hanna Cormick is a Finnish-Australian with Sámi ancestors, living on Ngunnawal country. She works across fields of performance art and curation, and crip activism. Her recent performance artwork, The Mermaid, featured at the 2020 Sydney Festival and was nominated for the 2018 Disability Leadership Institute award (Arts) and the Chief Minister’s award (Young Leader). Her current practice is a reclamation of body through radical visibility.
