Ian Lesā

Ian Lesā works as a semi-professional in theatre and film. His more notable works include working as the assistant director, one of two stage managers, and movement facilitator on New Zealand’s first epic theatre piece The Undertow series produced by Te Rakau Theatre Hua o Te Waotapu Trust. He played a lead support role in the multi-award-winning New Zealand film The Great Maiden’s Blush produced by Torchlight Films. In 2016, Ian became the only person of Samoan descent to graduate with a Master of Theatre Arts (MTA) in Directing from Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School and Victoria University of Wellington.
