Jo MacDonald (She/Her) is Anishinaabe and living on Treaty 1, Manitoba, Canada. She is a beader, short film creator, and playwright. She created Winn Nipi, an audio piece for PTE’s Winnipeg Stories Safe at Home Manitoba Project. Her play Neechie-itas won the Native American New Play contest and was produced by Oklahoma Indigenous Theatre Company. The digital production of Neechie-itas has been shown across Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and United States.
