Katie Pearl is an American playwright, director, and interdisciplinary theater artist. As Co-Artistic Director of the Obie-winning PearlDamour, she regularly pushes the boundaries of contemporary theater with projects such as the eight-hour performed installation HOW TO BUILD A FOREST and the five-city / five-year MILTON. Pearl was the 2018 Quinn Martin Guest Chair of Directing at UCSD and the 2017 Anschutz Distinguished Fellow at Princeton. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Directing at Wesleyan University.
