Kevin Loring is Nlakap’amux from The Lytton First Nation in British Columbia. He’s a graduate of Studio 58 professional theatre training program, and Full Circle First Nations Performance: Ensemble Training Program. As an actor he has performed in dozens of plays across Canada. He was a playwright-in-residence and a member of the English Theatre Acting Company at the National Arts Centre. Kevin is a recipient of the Governor General’s Mentorship Award, and the 2009 Governor General’s Literary Award for his play Where the Blood Mixes. Kevin is the Artistic Director of Savage Society, a theatre company dedicated to telling Indigenous stories.
