Lenora Champagne

Lenora Champagne makes work as a performance artist, playwright, and director. In 2012-13, she lived in Tokyo as a Fulbright Fellow to Japan and in Spring 2013 was in residence at the Bogliasco Foundation in Italy, where she wrote her new performance, I.C. (I See). She performed her solo Memory’s Storehouse in May 2014 in Tokyo and as part of Tiny Lights, a collaboration with Lizzie Olesker, at Invisible Dog Arts Center and at the New Ohio Theatre in 2012. Her latest book, New World Plays, was published by No Passport Press in 2015. Champagne is Professor of Theatre and Performance at Purchase College, SUNY.
