Mindi Dickstein is an award-winning American writer best known as the lyricist for Broadway’s Little Women-the musical.  Current/recent projects: book and lyrics for Maiden Voyage (London), lyrics for saint ex and The Little Prince (Poland), lyrics for Witnesses (San Diego Critics Circle award for Best Production), lyrics for Benny & Joon (San Diego Critics Circle nominee for Best Musical), book for Toy Story (Disney) and book and lyrics for Trip (Playwrights Horizons Harold and Mimi Steinberg Commission). Awards include: Jonathan Larson Foundation Award (lyrics), New York Foundation for the Arts and Massachusetts Artists Foundation Fellowships (Playwriting), PEN International New Playwright (selected and introduced by Wendy Wasserstein), Second Stage Constance Klinsky Award (lyrics), and an Oscar Hammerstein Fellowship at NYU’s Graduate Musical Theater writing program (MFA and current faculty).
