Peterson Toscano is a US-born performance artist, Bible scholar, and queer rights activist. He currently lives in Pretoria, South Africa, with his husband Glen Retief. Peterson produces multiple podcasts including Citizens Climate Radio and Bubble&Squeak. His one-person on-line performances include OK Zoomer! and A Queer Response to Climate Change – What Would Walt Whitman Do? His film, Transfigurations – Transgressing Gender in the Bible, explores the stories of gender non-conforming Bible characters.
