A CHANGING WORLD is a free outdoor performance in a beautiful woodland setting in upstate New York. Audience members are invited to tell their own stories relating to climate change, and watch as Hudson River Playback Theatre improvisors create theatre and music on the spot. The show will include two CCTA plays:

Caity-Shea Violette – BEDTIME STORY FOR MY (FUTURE) DAUGHTER
Our community partners so far are New Paltz Climate Change Coalition and the Rail Trail Cafe, a venue that is committed to honoring nature and local Indigenous history. As well as a handout with facts on climate change, we plan to have an “action board” listing a set of actions that folks can pledge to take. We’ll invite audience members to post photos on social media of themselves standing with the action board.
This is HRPT’s fourth time participating in CCTA! We’re excited to be part of it again.
