All Together for a Common Good: Climate Change Theatre Action

The Eckerd College community is invited to attend an outdoor screening of All Together for a Common Good: Climate Change Theatre Action, a series of digital performances by Antonia Krueger’s Performance and the Environment class, on the Wireman Chapel lawn (bring your own blanket). The evening will feature student video productions of:

Miranda Rose Hall – THE OYSTER
Nicolas Billon – THE PENGUIN
Mwendie Mbugua – SMALL BUT MIGHTY
Pat To Yan – THE LAST BEE IS FLYING OVER THE SKY
Zoë Svendsen – LOVE OUT OF THE RUINS

as well as original short videos by student artists, projected on a large outdoor screen provided by the Film Studies program.

In collaboration with the Eckerd Seed Library, wildflower seeds with small recycled pots, soil, and painted stones will be available for audience members to take home. In collaboration with Florida Public Interest Research Group (PIRG) Students at Eckerd, QR codes to climate related initiatives with writing materials will be available for audience members to make their voices heard and be posted for them. A climate message board will be posted for audience members to express their hopes for climate action and see the hopes of others.
