Across Oceans Arts, instigates a 24/7 online engagement during these longest nights of Dec 16-27. Hanna Cormick’s CANARY lights the way for online readings and sharing from the comfort of personal devices across AOA’s international network.

Canaries are used in coal mines to warn miners of air contamination. Their tiny bodies feel the contamination first. When the canaries stop singing the miners know they must evacuate.

Directed by AD Maxine Heppner, AOA players are invited to record their spontaneous readings, to share with each other and personal networks.
