Theatre Action

“Climate Change Open Mic” will be a climate change-themed open mic hosted by Napa County Poet Laureate Aisha Rivera, featuring CCTA play readings, original poetry/song from the local community, and the chance to gather and reflect on what climate change means to us. We will reserve three slots for Climate Change Theater Action plays and encourage our open mic participants to create and perform work that is inspired by the themes of Climate Change or Nature. If time allows, we can read more Climate Change Theatre Action plays, as long as no one is prevented from presenting their own plays and works. This is a free, community oriented event that will last for an hour and a half. We will also provide audience with take-home copies of Ayana Elizabeth Johnson’s climate venn diagrams.
