Performances
For the second time since 2021, the University Players will take part in the CCTA initiative with an engaging evening of theatre and activism. Presented in collaboration with Charlotte Manzella’s seminar “Climate Activism and/in Theatre,” the event will feature a curated selection of plays performed by students and members of the University Players. There will be a poster exhibition presented by students and outlining how climate activism interacts with theatre performance in different contexts, as well as an opportunity for visitors to write down their hopes and dreams for a better future.
Additionally, expert speakers will present on the interaction between climate and various areas of work and research. Speakers include Dr. Klara Stumpf, (Alfred Töpfer Stiftung) and Ionut Burlacu, M.A. (sports and movement science), as well a student video reporting from the ongoing COP30 conference in Belém. The event is kindly supported by the Alfred Töpfer Stiftung.
