Students in Assistant Professor of Theatre Shanti Pillai’s Theatre 101 class, “The Art of Playing,” will be inviting their friends to watch four staged readings of the following plays:
Wren Brian – WHEN
Nicolas Billon – THE PENGUIN
Karen Elias – THE PERSISTENCE OF POSSIBILITY
Zoë Svendsen – LOVE OUT OF THE RUINS
The event will take place on Thursday, December 2 at 7 pm in our Centerstage in the 62 Center for Theatre and Dance at Williams College, Williamstown, MA.
We have invited to participate with us students from Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies Brittany Meché’s Environmental Studies Senior Seminar who have made short video ethnographic-art works around the themes. We will screen the videos between the plays.
