Climate Change Theatre Action, Downriver Michigan

Dec 22021

December 5 @ 1:04 am

Our event consists of 20 student actors, seven student crew, and four student directors. In addition to the 14 CCTA plays selected, students wrote four of their own, including WALTZ OF THE FLOWERS, WHAT IS CLIMATE CHANGE?, WHAT I LOVE MOST (ABOUT EARTH), and WHAT CAN I DO. In WHAT CAN I DO, the students talk about how they already take action against climate change, make a plan for how they and their community can do more, and express their hopes for the outcome of this performance.

Students also made art pieces to be displayed in the lobby to express their feelings about climate change. They hope that by doing this show they can spread awareness and inspire more people to take action in their community.
