October 12 @ 6:18 pm
You are invited to a series of performances and an interactive performative walking tour centered around the topic of borders, bridges and grand plans for stopping climate change and sustainable living through the lens of international multi-disciplinary artists in Budapest and the playwrights for Climate Change Theatre Action 2021.
The 7th of November is the middle of the COP26 UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow where political leaders continue the discussion about the Paris Agreement. What are the sacrifices we need to make in order to reach our goals? What can happen if people work together for a common goal?
The walking tour starts at Fővám tér and leads to the Studio where the performances will continue. We will walk exactly 1,5 kilometers as a symbolic reminder to the leaders at the COP26 of the promised 1.5 degrees maximum warning. The audience will see (and participate in) site-specific and interactive performances and dance pieces created specifically for this occassion and also an excerpt from the work-in-progress play by Ladder Art Company and the show Banquet for Bees by Viktória Makra.
