Metropolitan Community College is proud to participate in this year’s Climate Change Theatre Action, an international series of readings of short climate change plays that coincide with the United Nations Conference of the Parties (COP) meetings. To help represent Nebraska, eight of these plays will receive semi-staged readings on December 14 in the Swanson Conference Center of MCC’s Fort Omaha Campus. The event begins at 6:00 pm.
As part of the evening, Chelsea Johnson, Deputy Director of the Nebraska Conservation Voters, will give a presentation. Nebraska Conservation Voters is a nonprofit that protects our state’s natural legacy by educating voters, advocating for sound policies, and electing conservation champions.
Coinciding with the event will be a bazaar with vendors selling examples of environmentally-conscience gifts and ideas on how to reduce consumption during the holidays.
The event is free and open to the public.
