Climate Change Theatre Action in Providence, Rhode Island

URI Providence Campus Arts and Culture Program and The Wilbury Theatre Group, in collaboration with Climate Change Theatre Action, proudly present ​a series of short plays written by international playwrights to support the UN Climate Change Conference.

Under the direction of Logan Serabian with a company of Wilbury Theatre Group actors, the evening will feature the following CCTA playwrights:

David Finnigan – THERE ARE A LOT OF STORIES YOU CAN TELL ABOUT HUMANITY
Jordan Hall – THE DONATION
Lana I. Nasser – THE BUTTERFLY THAT PERSISTED
Katie Pearl – THE EARTH’S BLUE HEART
Madeline Sayet – BLOOD ON THE LEAVES
Caridad Svich – A LETTER FROM THE OCEAN
Marcus Youssef – DUST

As well as:

James Celenza – MIGRATORY BIRDS
Darcie Dennigan – SEX WITH MONSANTO

 

Among the cast from Wilbury Theatre Group are: Nick D’Amico, Brian Kozak, Brien Lang, Marcel Mascaro, Jennifer Mischley, Maggie Papa, Jason Quinn and Helena Tafuri.

There will be a post performance discussion led by Logan Serabian along with Barnaby Evans form Waterfire, Alicia Lehrer from Woonasquatucket Watershed Council and Performance Artists Eli Nixon.
