Performances
The EcoTheatre Lab facilitated a series of Climate Change Theatre Action workshops and class visits in Fall 2025, sharing the CCTA initiative with community members and students in Central and Northwestern Iowa. Workshop participants performed and reflected on Climate Change Theatre Action plays (Pond Life by Elyne Quan and Undertow by Keith Barker), discussed climate and environmental issues and solutions relevant to their local communities, and developed new written and performance pieces responding to these discussions. The EcoTheatre Lab team also shared examples of our CCTA contributions from 2017-2023 and facilitated conversations with participants about the role of arts and storytelling in catalyzing climate dialogue and action.
