Theatre Action

Organized by Yeryüzü Sahnesi, this CCTA 2025 event will take place on June 28 during the 4th Gulf of İzmit Sea Festival – a major cultural event in Kocaeli, Turkey. The performance of The Climate Heroes will combine music, puppetry, and audience interaction to engage over 500 children and families in climate awareness. The short play Single Use by Marcia Johnson is embedded into a scene where our character Gizem, the Recycling Expert, teaches kids about plastic waste and marine life. After the show, children receive “Climate Hero” certificates as part of our mission to reach 1 million children with climate education.
