Students from across the college share performance, poetry and art exploring climate crisis fears and hopes. The evening will include five plays from the 2023 Climate Change Theatre Action cycle along with a sixth short play, “Snails,” by Detroit, Michigan playwright Janet Colson.

LCC Theatre alumni are directing the plays, all performed by LCC Theatre students. Local environmental organizations and the Michigan Coalition of Science on the Ballot will have information tables. Event posters by LCC Art and Design students and poetry created specifically for our event through LCC’s Community-Generated Poetry Project will be displayed. Each evening concludes with an opportunity to discuss reactions and actions.

Both evenings will be sign interpreted by students in LCC’s Sign Interpretation Program.
