Climate Change Theatre Action: Lighting the Way

Ramapo College’s “Exploring Issues Through Performance” First Year Seminar joins with the global initiative Climate Change Theatre Action to present “Lighting the Way,” an evening of short eco play readings and performances.

Additional events include a workshop with the co-founder of CCTA, playwright Chantal Bilodeau, who will also offer a lunchtime talk and presentation about her work as a theatre artist and activist. All are welcome to attend these free events which aim to create community and illuminate the path towards climate justice.

1:10-2:15pm The York Room – Chantal Bilodeau, artist and activist, will discuss her work and initiatives: Climate Change Theatre Action, The Arctic Cycle, Artists and Climate Change Incubators, and more!

 

6:30-8:30pm The Adler Theater – “Lighting the Way” – play readings and performances. With special guests Ashwani Vasishth, Chuck Stead, Harriet Shugarman, Chantal Bilodeau, and Michael Edelstein.
