Imago Theatre will present a reading series of short plays, with a cast of Montreal theatre artists, that address the devastating realities of climate change with stories that urge us, as often only stories can, to stop, wake up, be enraged, and do better. As individuals and as local and global communities.
Featured playwrights are:
Hanna Cormick – CANARY
Sunny Drake – ABSOLUTELY NOTHING OF ANY MEANING
Brian Dykstra – TWO VOICES
Yvette Nolan – BREATHING SPACE
Julie McKee – A HOLIDAY ON ICE IN WARM CLIMATE
Matthew Paul Olmos – STARING HER DOWN
Marcus Youssef – DUST
Caridad Svich – A LETTER FROM THE OCEAN
All funds raised at the event will be donated to a solutions based environmental organization.
Imago is partnering with St-Gabriel Elementary School to create the physical environment for the performance readings.
