Staged Reading of Plays from the Podcast Series
Goucher students will perform a staged reading of six short plays about the environment and climate change. The six plays are available as a series of podcasts produced by the theatre program but this performance will allow audiences to experience the work live. Additionally, the audience will hear six original musical compositions in their entirety. The music was written and performed by a team of Goucher students to accompany each podcast episode.
Five of the plays were commissioned by Climate Change Theatre Action and anthologized in “The Future Is Not Fixed”:

One play, Human Invasion was written by Kristen Wheeler a junior minoring in theatre.
We are proud to be a small part of the Climate Change Theatre Action initiative that uses theatre to broadcast and make immediate and understandable the work of our fellows making policy and science.
