GREEN is a collection of stories – choreography, poetry, music, and conversation that uplifts community, creativity, and cultural change.
Join us for an evening of dance by New York City’s up-and-coming choreographers, poetry readings and original songs by local artists, and a 20-minute dance revue featuring the play “A Little Green” by Charly Evon Simpson & music by Leith Ross with choreography and direction by Sydney Manno.
Sydney Manno is a dance & theatre artist based in New York City. She’s the founder of “Storytelling with Sydney”– a creative class space that combines poetry, community-building, and choreography to tell, experience, and remember meaningful stories through the universal language of movement.
The title “GREEN” is inspired by her favorite color, the environmental themes of the show, Charly’s play title, and her newness to producing – she may be green, but she’s ready for the challenge!
