Don’t miss Hot Mess: Comedic Reading and Panel Discussion on Climate Change by Missed the Mark Productions; Song Society by Florencia Iriondo; The Sound of Water by Center Heart Theater; and Now by Full Circle Theatre.

Following the readings of Laila Pines for the Wolf, The Polar Bears, and The Donation, Megan Phillips will perform a 5-minute excerpt from Missed the Mark Productions’ show Catching a Cheese Pervert: A Frances Francis Mystery. The group will then move into a panel discussion on climate change with two real experts and Frances Francis, who will present her satirical yet hapless (but earnest) views on corporate responsibility.

Florancia Iriondo will read an excerpt from her show Song Society, and the CCTA play Lifeday.

Center Heart Theater Company will present Ranger and A Letter from the Ocean, and an expert from their debut production, The Sound of Water. This will be followed by a discussion on the process of creating climate-based theatre.

The reading of Now by Full Circle Theatre, followed by a discussion about the play, was recorded and will be screened.
