December 8 @ 6:44 pm
A showcase of international environmental plays, written by playwrights from across the globe and developed by Tenderfoot Theatre, for the Ormskirk Arts House. Immerse yourselves in a constantly shifting performance as we explore the planet’s fragile ecosystem through human hands. As we sculpt our home from earth and clay, join us in telling the story of Mother Earth, and the joys and disasters of humanity’s impact. This hour-long devised showcase features the following works:
Nicolas Billon – THE PENGUIN
Wren Brian – WHEN
Hanna Cormick – DREAM/REMEMBER
Angella Emurwon – INITIATION
Zoë Svendsen – LOVE OUT OF THE RUINS
Chris Thorpe – NOT BECAUSE WE’RE GOOD
Caity-Shea Violette – BEDTIME STORY FOR MY (FUTURE) DAUGHTER
Impact is supported from 3:00 pm on the day by a Sustainability Fair at the venue, featuring a range of vendors and exhibitions from eco-craft stalls and planet-friendly food, to a climate art gallery and speakers from climate action groups.
