Dec 42019

Director Michele Minnick, dramaturg Tom Fish and members of the Vital Matters ensemble will gather together faculty, staff and students of the Kennesaw State University Department of Theatre and Performance Studies to do very lightly rehearsed readings of seven plays, with live musical interludes.

Elspeth Tilley – LIN AND ASH
Elaine Ávila – THE ROOKERY
Julie McKee – A HOLIDAY ON ICE IN A WARM CLIMATE
Caridad Svich – A LETTER FROM THE OCEAN
Alister Emerson – SIX POLAR BEARS FELL OUT OF THE SKY THIS MORNING
Damon Chua – STEAMY SESSION IN A SINGAPORE SPA
Chantal Bilodeau – IT STARTS WITH ME

The primary action will be to offer information about ways to get involved in local climate action and related organizations and events, such as Extinction Rebellion Atlanta, and to gather names of people interested in future climate action and performance and the more-than-human world.
