Lighting the Way: Climate Change Theatre Action 2019 at Eckerd College

Nov 252019

The Eckerd College Performance and the Environment class will be performing 70 minutes of short original videos, songs, and play readings related to climate change and other key environmental issues. They will also be giving a video performance of Caridad Svich’s LETTER FROM THE OCEAN and a live reading of Lana I Nasser’s THE BUTTERFLY THAT PERSISTED.

Along with the performances, audience members will be provided with educational materials about current policy initiatives under review. In addition, native Florida wildflower seeds (courtesy of Louise Riling, Antonia Krueger, and Wilcox Nursery) will be available for audience members to plant in their gardens to support local pollinators.
