Medicine Ball: Playwrights v. Poets returns for our annual literary battle royale of the century in partnership with Climate Change Theatre Action. Guided by the theme of “lighting the way”, six playwrights and six poets tackle the issue of global climate change, using six pieces of visual art to stimulate their imaginations. Who will take the championship is anybody’s guess – but the audience gets to vote on the winner.
This edition will also feature an additional short play – BREATHING SPACE by Yvette Nolan – commissioned by Climate Change Theatre Action and selected by Medicine Ball steering committee member Ilsa Olsen.
The November 8th performance will be presented at North Seattle College. The November 9th performance will take place at 18th and Union – An Arts Space.
