This event is part of a day-long local community green initiative in Mumbai called Green Flea, focusing on creating awareness of eco-friendly alternatives for a sustainable world. There will be a performance of David Finnigan’s THERE ARE A LOT OF STORIES YOU CAN TELL ABOUT HUMANITY, followed by personal stories from the audience on nature and future using Playback Theatre. This event aims to generate more participation in the Climate Strike on October 6 in Mumbai, and to encourage more people to sign a petition opposing the construction of the car shed for a new Metro line. The construction is currently planned in a green belt in the depleting Green Lungs of Mumbai called the Aarey Forest.
