PAN Shanghai 盘上海 and Xian Village 闲谷 eco-arts community have invited 13 artists to spend a week in a “hollow” village in Zhejiang province for nature.raw 野与生 Flash Arts Residency, our 2021 arts incubation event. The residents span a range of cultural and artistic backgrounds, from performance to animation to food sculpting. They will be challenged to collaborate with nature and each other to create new works using primarily found and natural resources. As a group, we will perform US IN THE PAST by Nathan Ellis bilingually in Chinese and English. We will also translate into Chinese the following four plays as sources of inspiration for the residents:
