In this session, we will read three short plays: Starving to Death in Midtown by Mindi Dickstein, The Project Hope by Catherine Banks, So Beautiful Today, So Sunny by Marcus Youssef with Seth Klein, as well as an excerpt from Naomi Johnson’s book, The World at 15 mph…ish. The first two short plays look at the natural world and our connection to it with actions focused on supporting biodiversity. The latter play considers the relationship between people and climate action. Following this reading, we will facilitate a short conversation on climate engagement and how to lead engagement in your community. Thoughts will be compiled and shared as a blog following the event. Audience members can sign up to receive it. Additionally, we will have some mixed seeds for audience members to take away and help the bees!
