In this event, Appalachian State University’s Playcrafter’s Theatre Club will be hosting a climate change event and working with the school’s Office of Sustainability to do a cold reading of two plays: IT STARTS WITH ME by Chantal Bilodeau and A DOG LOVES MANGO by Georgina Escobar.
We will then do a presentation with the Office of Sustainability to discuss the importance of climate change and why food waste is a big deal. At the conclusion of this meeting, the host of the event (Allie Pearce) will set food banks all around the theatre department of Appalachian State and after one week this drive will be collected and given to the local Boone, NC community by the Office of Sustainability.
