Performances
We are delighted to invite you to the Reading Climate Theatre Festival in Bulmershe Theatre at the University of Reading (UK) on Monday 4 December from 1pm-3pm. The Festival will see students from the Department of Film, Theatre & Television and students from local schools present a series of new, short plays by international playwrights about the climate crisis. Playwrights presented include: Chris Thrope, Angie Farrow, Sarah Higgins, Victor Jatobá, Mark Rigney and Lana I Nasser. The Festival forms part of a larger global community of theatre-makers, who are producing up to 50 new, short plays under the initiative of the Climate Change Theatre Action programme, a worldwide festival presented to coincide with the United Nations COP meetings. Our Festival has been kindly supported by the University’s Community Engagement Fund.
To watch this timely mix of powerful, witty and provocative plays, please register for free in advance via our ReadingClimate Theatre Festival Eventbrite.
