“Hurry. It’s getting hotter!”
Original Fire by Kevin Loring

Theatre students of the Department of Theatre Studies (Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, Brno) presented staged readings of plays from the international Climate Change Theatre Action project as a symbolic gesture that contributes to a community network of people who care deeply about this issue.

The translations and adaptations were produced during a dramaturgy seminar led by Miloslav Juráni earlier in the semester and they were presented in an experimental stage set form. The project demonstrates that even short theatrical texts can address global themes and create space for collective reflection on the world around us.
