Waste//Land: Climate Change Theatre Action 2019

Sep 192019

Beyond Borders, the affinity group dedicated to the international community at the Yale School of Drama, is proud to propose and present Waste//Land: Climate Change Theatre Action at the Yale Cabaret. Here we bring global voices together in a series of short plays, installations, and interventions to interrogate our relationship to the planet today, and what it might be in the future. Our direct action is a climate change bingo, giving the audience a chance to think about things they can do, and inviting them to take a list of those actions home.

The performance will feature the following CCTA plays:

Elaine Ávila – THE ROOKERY
Hanna Cormick – CANARY
Sunny Drake – ABSOLUTELY NOTHING OF ANY MEANING
Brian Dykstra – TWO VOICES

As well as:

Gloria Majule – LIFE MUSEUM
Amarildo Felix, translated by Danilo Gambini – GREENHOUSE
